In this 2-part series of introductory makeup department classes, professional makeup artist, Ashleigh Chavis gives students a step-by-step guide to beginning a career as a professional makeup artist in film and television. Learn the basic tools and etiquette needed to ensure that you will be hired again and again.

Join RE:IMAGINE on January 27th, 2024 at 12pm for an exclusive filmmaking workshop. Experience a live simulated shoot, engage with industry professionals, and explore creative possibilities.

Inside Georgia’s Film Tax Credits: How Companies and Individuals Can Benefit

DeKalb County Student Film Festival

Tuesday, March 26, 2024 — 6:00 p.m. — 9:00 p.m.

 

DeKalb Entertainment Commission and the DeKalb County School District presents the 6th Annual DeKalb County Student Film Festival. Students from participating schools around the County will demonstrate how DeKalb is preparing the next generation of filmmakers through film screenings and an awards ceremony.

 

Sponsorship opportunities are available and financial support will help secure the costs of 20 DeKalb County Students to attend the Student Television Network National Convention in California.
