Jan. 12 Event in DeKalb Teaches Kids About Media Literacy and Video Production

DeKalb Entertainment Commission Supports Kids Video Connection Workshop at Tucker-Reid H. Cofer Library

DECATUR, GA — Kids Video Connection, with support from the DeKalb Entertainment Commission, will host a workshop on Jan. 12, “Intro to Media Literacy & Video Production” at the Tucker-Reid H. Cofer Library in Tucker.

The event is open to children ages 13 – 17 and will introduce participants to media literacy concepts and instruct them on script writing and video production. In this workshop, students will produce a Public Service Announcement to promote reading and the DeKalb County Public Library.
