June 17-29 Event in DeKalb Teaches Kids About Media Literacy and Video Production

 

DeKalb Entertainment Commission, Emory University Film & Media Studies Support Kids Video Connection Children’s Film Festival

Kids Video Connection, with support from the DeKalb Entertainment Commission and co-sponsored by the Emory University Department of Film and Media Studies, will host the KVC Children’s Film Festival from June 17-29.

The Festival features a Family Day of film screening at Emory University’s White Hall on June 29th, and Film Camp video production youth summer camp workshop days from June 17-21. Students at film camp will be introduced to skills and careers in film production, and develop a short film and PSA. You can view an example PSA video from a recent KVC workshop here.
