It's time for the 10th cycle of the Film Impact Georgia Filmmaker Grant! Reminder, you must be a Georgia-based filmmaker and have plans to shoot the film within the next year in Georgia. This grant is for short films only

Spring Grant Timeline:

Applications open: Monday, February 12th

Deadline: Sunday, April 14th @ 11:59pm

Finalists announced: Wednesday, May 15th

Winner Announced: Wednesday, June 19th

Atlanta Jewish Film Festival

Inside Georgia’s Film Tax Credits: How Companies and Individuals Can Benefit

Please join AGG Entertainment & Sports co-chair Beth Moore and AGG Tax of counsel along with Ben Zachariah, director of tax credit investments at Monarch Private Capital, for a complimentary webinar exploring how Georgia taxpayers (including LLCs, trusts, and individual) can benefit from both generating film tax credits and purchasing or selling such tax credits.  They will also discuss a recent bill introduced by Georgia State Rep. Kasey Carpenter, which aims to amend the film tax credit. There will be an opportunity for Q&A at the end of this webinar.

DeKalb County Student Film Festival

Tuesday, March 26, 2024 — 6:00 p.m. — 9:00 p.m.

 

DeKalb Entertainment Commission and the DeKalb County School District presents the 6th Annual DeKalb County Student Film Festival. Students from participating schools around the County will demonstrate how DeKalb is preparing the next generation of filmmakers through film screenings and an awards ceremony.

 

Sponsorship opportunities are available and financial support will help secure the costs of 20 DeKalb County Students to attend the Student Television Network National Convention in California.
